Guide books and publications

A number of publications have been produced not only to provide useful environmental education on the territory and present the results of scientific research but also to highlight and conserve the origins and traditions of mountain culture. They include guide books dealing with the history and biodiversity the Oasi Zegna nature park (Piemonte) and a book of Biella recipes.

Oasi guide books                                                                                                      This series of publications cover botanical, entomological, zoological and ornithological themes and explain in simple language the results of in-the-field research by experts from Milan’s Natural History Museum in collaboration with the members of Oasi Zegna’s Scientific Committee.

Alpi Biellesi – Oasi Zegna                                                                                     Addressing all nature lovers and hikers, this guide book by expert hiker Roberto Chiej Gamacchio focuses on ten of the most interesting itineraries in the area. His descriptions of the routes are enriched with fascinating details of natural and historical interest, as well as maps and photos.

Oasi Zegna Guide Book                                                                                                  The history and development of Oasi Zegna come alive in this in-depth study by Franco Grosso, which maps out all the territory’s characteristics.        

Oasi Zegna Menus                                                                                                       All the flavors typical of Biella cuisine in a recipe book focusing on local specialties and dishes as prepared by Mina Novello. Alongside traditional recipes, the author presents others that are the fruit of her own creative use of locally-grown ingredients.Arranged in four seasonal menus, the recipes are easy to make and also given in English.
