The Panoramica Zegna is the via the community of Trivero (Biella, Piemonte), gateway to the highlands where contact with nature is really authentic.
An integral part of Ermenegildo Zegna’s vision of reclaiming the mountain territory around the wool mill, the Panoramica Zegna was the key to developing family-oriented local tourism.
Construction began officially in 1938. Following the interruption due to the 2nd world war, work was resumed in 1947 and the road reached Bielmonte, its highest point (1,500 meters) in summer 1953. In this period work also began on the large panoramic plaza that was to be the platform for the building of skiing and hospitality facilities for tourists.
The road that Ermenegildo Zegna dreamt of a century ago now reaches Bocchetto di Sessera and is thus 65 km long. Providing access to what is now Oasi Zegna and its network of paths and itineraries, it offers numerous breath-taking panoramic views of the plains of the Po Valley.
