Hiking under a full moon

Hikes through the woods of upper Val Sessera, from Bocchetto Sessera to Alpe Artignaga

On the full moon evenings of 14 December, 11 January, 8 February and 7 March, guided nighttime snowshoe hikes through the woods of upper Val Sessera, from Bocchetto Sessera to Alpe Artignaga.

The route is a 9 km loop (two different trails). At around half-way, after an hour’s hiking, there will be a break at one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in Val Sessera, with its typical stone huts (“tegge”), for hot chocolate and mulled wine by the fire. The evening closes with a dinner  – optional – featuring polenta concia.
