At Trivero
The swimming pool in the “Dopolavoro F.lli Zegna di Angelo”, a recreational club builtin Trivero, Biella, on the initiative of the textiles entrepreneur Ermenegildo Zegna, was opened to the public in the spring of 1940. It was an important social project designed to improve the quality of life and leisure in the community.
This covered pool is decorated by three major works by the painter Mario Carletti depicting bathers and athletes. The pool itself features mosaic tiles and there is a balcony for spectators.
It’s in the Centro Zegna and was built for swimming enthusiasts. It also provides courses for kids and adults.
The Centre’s terrace can be used for sunbathing in summer.
